Important Dates

- Submission Period : June 4, 2026 (Thu) – August 12, 2026 (Wed) by 6:00 PM (KST)
Note : Submissions received after 6:00 PM will be excluded from evaluation.
- Announcement of Provisional Winners : September 1, 2026 (Tue) (Expected)

- Announcement of Final Winners : September 15, 2026 (Tue) (Expected)
- Award Ceremony : September 30, 2026 (Wed), Seoul City Schedule, South Korea. (Expected)

Art Work Requirements

[Digital Photography]
- Photos above 3400x2400pixels. JPEG files (.jpg), uploaded to 10MB
- Limit of 5 points per person.
- Film cameras can be submitted by converting to JPEG (.jpg) files
- Team entries are not allowed for the photography category.

[UCC(Videography) · Short-form]
- Upload MPEG (.mp4) files of 2 minutes or less, with a resolution of at least 1280X720 pixels and a file size of 500MB or less.
- One individual or one team (up to 5 members maximum) is limited to 2 points.
- UCC(Videography) : Video content such as motion graphics, dramas, documentaries, promotional videos, animations, etc.
- Short-form : Short-form videos of 1 minute or less

※ Name, contact number, address, title and description of the work, location of the setting, camera info, music info should be mentioned.

※ The submitted works must have been filmed after January 1, 2025.

※ Every submission must be free of any legal issues such as portrait rights, intellectual property rights and copyright infringement.

※ Original file submission may be required only for award-winning works.

Notice

- Originality: Submitted works must be individual, pure creative works
that have not been previously published or submitted to other contests.

- Anonymity in Judging: To ensure fair judging, any markers or indications that reveal the applicant’s identity
(other than in the designated name field on the submission form) are strictly prohibited.
The evaluation details and the list of judges will not be disclosed.

- Relevance: Applicants may face disadvantages during the evaluation process
if they submit photos unrelated to the contest theme or if the artwork description field is insufficiently completed.

- Generative AI Policy: The use of generative AI is permitted only for creating video subtitles and narrations.
Generating or synthesizing scenes or elements that were not actually filmed is strictly prohibited.
If such use is detected, the work will be excluded from prize consideration.
Even after the awards are announced, the prize may be canceled and all prize money/rewards retrieved.

- Photo Post-Processing (Photography Category):
* Post-processing work (such as composite techniques for star/celestial tracks or color corrections) is permitted,
but the details of any post-processing must be clearly specified in the artwork description.
* If any unstated post-processing is discovered during judging, the selection of the work may be restricted.

- Camera Exif Data (Photography Category):
Photo submissions must include camera shooting information in the artwork description.
The required details are 'Camera Model', 'Lens', 'Aperture (F-number)', 'Shutter Speed', and 'ISO'.
This information can be verified through the photo's image metadata or the camera settings.

- Copyright: The copyright (including both moral rights and property rights)
of the award-winning works remains with the applicant.

- Legal Responsibility: All submitted photos, UCCs, and short-form videos must not have any legal issues
regarding portrait rights, copyrights, intellectual property rights, rental rights, fonts, etc.
In the event of any legal disputes, the applicant bears all civil and criminal legal responsibilities and expenses,
and the host institution shall not bear any legal liability.

- Third-Party Copyrights: If a work includes third-party copyrighted materials,
the applicant must submit supporting documents proving that they have obtained proper usage permission from the copyright holder.

- Plagiarism & Disqualification: Works that copy or plagiarize others' creations will be excluded from evaluation.
If a dispute arises, the award will be canceled even after selection, and the prize money will be retrieved.

- Credits (UCC & Short-form Category): All images, music, videos, and fonts used in UCC and short-form submissions
must not infringe on copyrights. The title of the work must be stated at the beginning of the video,
and the title and source of the music/audio must be specified in the ending credits.

- Team Submissions (UCC & Short-form Category): Individual and team submissions are both permitted.
For team submissions, the team name and all members' names must be specified.
Teams are strictly limited to a maximum of 5 members.

- Duplicate Awards: Multiple wins by a single applicant are not permitted.
If an applicant has multiple winning works, only the highest-ranking award will be selected.

- Team Awards Handling: If a team submission wins, only one certificate will be awarded to the team representative,
with the team name and all members' names listed on it.

- Prize Money Distribution: The prize money will be paid to the representative who submitted the entry.
Any issues regarding the distribution of prize money among team members are strictly between the participants,
and the host institution will not intervene.

- Taxes: Any taxes and public utilities charges on the prize money must be borne by the winner.

- Teacher Guidance Policy (Children's Category): For the Children's Category (UCC/Short-form),
guidance from a teacher/instructor is accepted, except in cases where judges determine the assistance was excessive.
(Please note: Teacher guidance is not permitted for the Youth/Teenager Category).

- Attendance at the Ceremony: Winners are required to attend the contest award ceremony.
(Details for international winners will be negotiated separately).

- Public Use of Winning Works: All winning photos, UCCs, and short-form videos may be used by the host institution as public materials—
including reproduction, transmission, exhibition, promotion, award-winning collections, and educational materials—
within the scope necessary to achieve the goals and purpose of the contest.

- Disposal of Non-Winning Works: Submissions that do not win will be permanently discarded after the contest ends.
(However, email addresses will be retained for 3 years solely for contest notifications and information guidelines).
